HELP HER KEEP A ROOF OVER HER HEAD URGENT HOUSING CRISIS FUND
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out today on behalf of someone I care about deeply someone who, through no fault of her own, has been thrown into a crisis she never saw coming. This isn't an easy post to write. Asking for help rarely is. But I'd rather swallow my pride than watch someone I care about lose the roof over her head.
A sudden and unexpected loss of financial stability has left her facing the very real possibility of homelessness and the clock is ticking. She must secure stable housing as soon as possible to avoid losing the place she currently calls home. or she risks losing the place she currently calls home. Imagine packing up your entire life, uncertain of where you'll sleep next week, while also trying to hold yourself together enough to job hunt, fill out applications, and sound confident in interviews. That is exactly what she's doing right now, every single day, often without anyone knowing just how close to the edge she really is.
She hasn't given up. She refuses to Right now as you read this, she is actively applying for jobs, searching for affordable housing, and doing everything humanly possible to rebuild her stability from the ground up. What she lacks isn't determination it's time, and the financial cushion that most of us take for granted when life throws a curveball.
WHY THE NEXT 24 HOURS MATTER SO MUCH
Here's the hard truth: rent is due this Friday July 17th. That's tomorrow. If it isn't paid on time, she risks losing her housing entirely on top of everything else she's already carrying. There is no extension, no grace period no room to wait and see. Whatever we can raise before Friday goes straight toward keeping her housed and starting to clear the debts that have been quietly piling up during this crisis.
That's why this fundraiser is moving in phases. Phase one, our most urgent goal is to raise enough before Friday to cover this month's rent and a portion of her outstanding debts just enough to stop the bleeding and buy her the stability to keep fighting for a real recovery. Every contribution between now and Friday has an outsized impact because it's racing against a real immovable deadline.
THAT'S WHERE THIS FUNDRAISER COMES IN
I'm asking for your help to raise €1,500, which will go directly toward:
· Rental deposit and first month's rent: the upfront costs standing between her and a safe place to live
· Temporary housing support: a bridge to keep her sheltered while she finalizes a longer-term solution
· Transportation and relocation expenses: getting her and her belongings safely to a new home
· Food and essential living costs: the basics no one should have to go without during a crisis
· Short-term financial stability: breathing room to keep searching for work without the constant fear of falling further behind
Every euro raised goes straight toward helping her land safely on her feet nothing more nothing less.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT A HANDOUT; IT'S ABOUT A LIFELINE.
This isn't long term dependency we're talking about it's a bridge across a genuinely frightening moment. She is doing the hard work. She's job hunting, house hunting, and fighting to hold everything together. What she needs from us is simply the chance to get through the next few weeks safely with her dignity intact, so she can keep moving forward on her own two feet.
Anyone who has ever felt the ground shift beneath them a lost job, a sudden bill, an unexpected setback knows how quickly stability can slip away, and how much it means when someone catches you before you fall. That's all this is: a group of people choosing to catch someone before she falls.
HOW YOU CAN HELP, EVEN IF YOU CAN'T GIVE:
Every contribution matter, no matter the size. €5 matters. €10 matters. Even if you're not in a position to donate, sharing this fundraiser costs nothing and can make an enormous difference. Post it on social media. Share it in your Discord servers, your Reddit communities, your group chats, with your friends and family. You never know who might read this and feel moved to help but they can't help if they never see it.
Sometimes the difference between falling through the cracks and finding solid ground again is simply a community choosing to show up. I'm asking you to be part of that community today.
Thank you, sincerely, for taking the time to read this, for whatever you're able to give, and for helping carry this message further. Your kindness in whatever form it takes will not be forgotten.
