Hello from the yellow bus,

We are an international group of students and teachers from a school in Denmark and we will bring you with us on our journey to Western Africa.

In our alternative school, we learn about the importance of quality education and we train to become the kind of teachers people need. In order to do that we need to gain experiences we can share with our future students. And this is why we start our program by traveling and exploring another kind of reality.

In the last two months we learned about reasons for our journey and responsibilities that are coming along with the 4-months of travel from Denmark to Guinea-Bissau. Now it’s time to put theory into practice. We are going to experience on our own skin, what it means to face the challenges we study about and meet many people with different cultures.

Throughout our journey we plan to research about Big Issues relevant in the countries we are going to visit, by applying the method of investigation. We will meet with people directly affected by these issues. We want to gain deeper understanding of the reality in many different countries.

Currently we are seeking funds to properly maintain our bus that became our home for the next months and continue the travel.

Our aim is to go on this adventure to explore diverse cultures and discover ways to lead a collective and healthy life despite our differences.
