The main theme of the 33rd Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity [Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy] is: “Kids, stay safe and sound!”

The 33rd Grand Finale marks another milestone in the ongoing mission to improve children’s health in Poland. On 26 January 2025, the GOCC Foundation will be raising funds to support 18 paediatric wards, 17 hospices, 5 neurosurgical oncology centres, 6 surgical oncology centres, and 4 pathomorphology units. With the generous support of donors, WOŚP aims to acquire state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to empower doctors in their fight against cancer and other serious blood diseases affecting children.

Equipment the Foundation plans to purchase with the funds raised during the 33rd Grand Finale:

❤️ Oncological surgery: laparoscopic sets, robotic surgical systems, cystoscopes, ultrasound aspirators, and mobile digital X-ray machines.

❤️ Neurosurgery: neurosurgical exoscopes and bipolar coagulation devices.

❤️ Oncology diagnostics: magnetic brain mapping tools, MRI machines, and ultrasound equipment.

❤️ Pathomorphology: intraoperative tomography devices, tissue processors, and histopathology scanners.

❤️ Hospices: oxygen concentrators and anti-bedsore mattresses.

The Grand Finale is a one-day public charitable fundraiser organised by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. It is a vibrant and joyous event featuring entertaining fundraising activities, concerts, creative workshops for children and adults, and charitable auctions, which begin as early as December.

Over 32 Grand Finales, the Foundation has raised more than PLN 2.3 billion (EUR 534,048,500) and donated over 73,000 medical devices to support public healthcare in Poland. The most recent Grand Finale, held in 2024, carried the theme “Post-Pandemic Lungs.” Thanks to the incredible efforts of local hubs – the Collection Centres – and dedicated GOCC supporters, a remarkable total of PLN 281,879,118.07 was raised.
