Hello,

I am an 18-year-old high school graduate from a large family and am planning to go to university on a state-funded place, but I need to rent a place to live.

I live in a small city in the south of the country, so there are no higher educational institutions here. I study well enough, so I plan to apply for a state-funded place in the capital in a specialty that interests me. But unfortunately, since I will be in another city, in addition to money for living, I will need to rent some kind of apartment. Knowing about our financial situation due to the fact that we are a large family and my parents’ work is not highly paid, I cannot afford to ask my parents for help, putting them in an awkward position when they want to help me but there is no money for it. In addition to the usual necessary expenses for my younger siblings (and one with a disability), my parents also financed my older brother’s university studies (he studies in a different city than I want to go to) and also financed my driving lessons (which amounted to the cost of for training, driving fees, additional driving fees, theory exam fees, practice exam fees and their repetitions in case of failure) which amounted to a fairly large amount, at least for us. Therefore, I am forced to ask for help here, from you, and I hope for your understanding and mercy. I thank everyone for even the slightest support.

Esu 18 metų abiturientas iš daugiavaikės šeimos ir planuoju stoti į universitetą valstybės finansuojamoje vietoje, tačiau turiu išsinuomoti būstą.

Gyvenu mažame miestelyje šalies pietuose, todėl aukštųjų mokyklų čia nėra. Mokausi pakankamai gerai, todėl planuoju pretenduoti į valstybės finansuojamą vietą sostinėje pagal mane dominančią specialybę. Bet deja, kadangi būsiu kitame mieste, be pinigų pragyvenimui dar reikės išsinuomoti kokį nors butą. Žinodamas apie mūsų finansinę padėtį dėl to, kad esame daugiavaikė šeima, o mano tėvų darbas nėra labai apmokamas, negaliu sau leisti prašyti tėvų pagalbos, kad nepalikti jų nepatogioje padėtyje, kai nori man padėti, bet yra pinigų tam nėra. Be įprastų būtinų išlaidų mano jaunesniems broliams ir seserims (ir vienam su negalia), mano tėvai taip pat finansavo mano vyresniojo brolio studijas universitete (jis mokosi kitame mieste nei aš noriu vykti), taip pat finansavo mano vairavimo pamokas (o tai mokesčiai už mokymus, vairavimo mokesčiai, papildomo vairavimo mokesčiai, teorijos egzaminų mokesčiai, praktikos egzaminų mokesčiai ir jų kartojimas nesėkmės atveju), o tai siekė gana didelę sumą, bent jau mano šeimai. Todėl esu priverstas prašyti pagalbos čia ir tikiuosi jūsų supratimo ir gailestingumo. Dėkoju visiems už net menkiausią paramą.
