Help us find a new home ❤️

I never thought there would come a time when I would have to ask complete strangers for help. Unfortunately, I now find myself in a situation that I simply cannot manage financially on my own.

We have lived in our current apartment for four years. During that entire time, I have always done my best to pay the rent and all related expenses properly. That is why it came as an even greater shock when I learned that our current lease would not be renewed.

We have to hand over the apartment by September 6, 2026, which means that within a very short period of time, we need to find a new place to live and, at the same time, raise the money needed to move in.

I never expected that, in such a short time, I would have to deal with finding a new home, paying a security deposit, the first month's rent, and the moving costs themselves.

After searching extensively, I managed to find a specific apartment that we could move into. So, I finally have the opportunity to secure a new home, but I do not have enough money to cover the initial costs.

The rent for this apartment is CZK 15,000 per month, and the landlord requires a security deposit equal to two months' rent, which is CZK 30,000.

In order to move in, we need:

• CZK 30,000 – security deposit for two months' rent

• CZK 15,000 – first month's rent

• CZK 3,500 – moving costs

Total: CZK 48,500

I have therefore set the fundraising goal at CZK 50,000, so that the amount needed to secure the apartment and complete the move will be covered.

Unfortunately, my financial situation is very difficult. I receive social assistance due to financial hardship and have no savings that would allow me to put together almost CZK 50,000 within just a few weeks.

Despite this, I am actively trying to resolve the situation. I searched for the most affordable housing I could find, and I have managed to find a specific apartment. This fundraiser is therefore not for finding a home – I have already found one. I simply need help covering the security deposit, first month's rent, and moving costs so that we do not lose this opportunity.

I am not asking for money for anything unnecessary or beyond the basics. I simply need to get through an exceptionally difficult period and make sure that we have somewhere to go when we have to leave our current home.

Asking for help is not easy for me at all. We have had our home for four years, and I never imagined that within just a few weeks I would have to start over.

That is why I will be incredibly grateful for any help.

My greatest wish is that we do not have to hand over the keys to our current home on September 6 knowing that we have nowhere to go.
