...there are moments in a person's life when words run out, leaving only silent prayers, supplications and hope. This is one of those moments, I still have to speak! I can't tell anyone, so I'll tell everyone!

Glioblastoma...

On the sixth of October, it came into our lives unexpectedly, unbidden but all the more inexorably. My dear Brother's smiling face did not shine that day. You have come and are about to take away All that is so Sweet to Me, Honey! But I will not give it! I will never give it!!!

We've been through long months, pain, worry, sleepless nights and tears... My Andika has been attacked by the most aggressive tumour in the world. Life saving surgery, 30 radiotherapy treatments, 21 chemo and then the hope that the dreaded disease was gone from our lives. Hope that our world would not collapse. Then in January came the sad news... it had recurred and was more aggressive than ever. The doctors have given up on my strong, brave, wonderful Brother! ( they predicted 4-6 months) Now it could be silence, a series of unanswerable questions, anger, hopelessness!

... but I will not give up, I cannot give up on my brave, beautiful Brother! I have found in Germany a procedure, immunotherapy, which is actually a treatment in the form of a vaccine developed by myself. It has shown extremely good results and there are some fellow patients who are already at six years survival (More about the treatment here: https: //www.nature.com/articles/s41467-024-51315-8 )

The treatment is 80.000 Euro, we have to pay 20.000 Euro for diagnostics in the first round and the other 60.000 Euro for the vaccine.

This is where I need your help! Please help me in this fight, if you can, so that my Brother can continue to shine on this Earth. My brave Brother, who has never been spared by life, who buried his 3 year old child, whose heart is in the right place, who loves his brother's little boy as his own, who is not afraid for himself but worries about what will happen to us if he has to go... it is impossible to describe in words what a wonderful person, what a brother, what an aunt, what a wonderful child for our Mother... there is so much more to do here among us! She is a great fighter and if given the chance, if we can do it together, she will! At 54, it is not time to say goodbye! Not yet! He still has to teach our little nephew the tricks of courtship, escort him to his graduation, smile in his wedding photos and advise him on so much more!

I ask you, if you can help even a little in this struggle for healing, the price of a bar of chocolate or a bag of sugar will help, because many little things go a long way!
