What is balcony photovoltaics? It's a tiny little photovoltaic power plant for those who don't own a house but at least have a balcony. Whether it's my grandmother, my mother-in-law or my perpetually grumpy neighbour...

Everyone knows what photovoltaic power plants are nowadays, roofs covered with panels can't be missed. Everyone today knows that energy self-sufficiency comes first, even when it comes to saving our mother Earth. Few people know that they can generate their own electricity, without unnecessary bureaucratic procedures and for a few crowns (relative to the cost of rooftop photovoltaic plants). After the big boom in our German neighbours, this is slowly spilling over to us...and we want to meet it.

What's the point/purpose of getting balcony PV in the Czech Republic:

1. If I know for sure that my appliances (air conditioner, freezer, fridge, boiler, etc.) consume more than 800W during the day, this option is an ideal way to reduce my electricity costs.
2. The saving in electricity is approximately 1 MWh per year. With a purchase price of around 20,000, the payback is within three years, and after the subsidy is taken into account, the payback is within 1.5 years.
3. This is a Simplified connection only (up to 800 Wp - minimum contact with the distributor), only a notification is required.
4. I know I have a balcony facing south (or south-east or south-west)
5. Easy and quick installation even with self-help (no hardware)
6. Low purchase costs (up to 20 000,-/800,- EUR)
7. Legally secured

What is included in the Balcony Photovoltaics:

• Unique selection and assembly of components, including solutions for possible overflows (overflows are prohibited in the Czech Republic for 800Wp sources)

After our own experience, we already know that building your own website/eshop is fun, but it has no chance of survival. That's why we want to work with experts, both in web/eshop development and marketing. And those who have success are worth something too. As we want to offer these services on a turnkey basis, we also need a van, which would of course serve as a presentation/mini showroom at trade fairs, exhibitions etc. and last but not least to transport the power plants to the customers. But we can also start the project without our own transport, it will only get more expensive. Most of the components are already in the EU (we can import), the rest has to be shipped from China.

So a landfill, an office, a compo, a good website, advertising and possibly something on four wheels :-)
