My name is Rusan Stamenov and I am now building my dream - a small private camperstop for recreational campervans in the Bulgarian mountains.

I was looking for the right spot that suits my requirements for more than 5 years until I finally found it in a small picturesque village in Eastern Bulgaria called Medven situated at the foot of the Stara Planina mountains.

It is a magical place full of history, traditional architecture and surrounded by breathtaking nature. A real hidden gem with great conditions for developing ecological, historical and rural tourism.

As a professional mountain guide I am passionate about camping and mountaineering and the combination of these elements gave birth to the idea for developing a touristic product that gives the opportunity to rent your own piece of tranquility under the stars, park your campervan while having all the basics needed - fresh water, electricity and kitchen.

The concept is to offer a unique touristic product that includes a tour of the museums of the village, numerous hikes in the mountain, bike tours and introducing the local farmers and food producers to the guests. The campingstop will have 6 spots for campervans, sized from 100 to 150 square meters. The design of the house will be planned according to local traditions with a lot of woodwork, stone and metal.

The spot itself is small and consists of 1500 sq. m. yard which has a 100 sq.m. building where 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs, summer kitchen, reception and a small bedroom for the personnel will be situated. Until now the roof of the house has been totally repaired, the yard has been leveled and the materials needed for the fence are available.

I would still need approximately 40 000 EUR to finish the repairs of the house and the landscape works.

I am using the platform to raise the money because Fortune decided to shatter my plans and leave me unemployed for an unknown period of time.
