We are the Lăbuțele lui Brezoi Association and we rescue animals with no chance of survival in Tulcea County, offering them a dignified life full of care.

Through long-distance adoption, you can become a constant source of support for a soul. In return for your help, you will receive the gratitude of an animal that is learning to trust people again.

Over 100 animals rescued from critical conditions live in our shelter . In some cases, we care for them for the rest of their lives. Not all of them have the chance of a physical adoption, for example:

-puppies with disabilities or health issues

-large or black dogs (unfortunately, these are less likely to be adopted)

-traumatised animals or those with behavioural difficulties

-blind cats

-FIV or FeLV-positive cats, who cannot live with other cats

For them, our shelter is their only home. And we rely on donations to provide them with food, treatment and daily care.

That is why we invite you to become a long-distance adopter — a simple but essential way to save lives. With your help, we can continue our work.

What does long-distance adoption mean?

Monthly support for an animal’s basic needs: food and internal and external parasite treatment. We use the minimum amounts. You can stop at any time!

Dog: 220 lei / 44 euros (1 month)

Cat: 165 lei / 33 euros (1 month)

How does it work?

-Set up a monthly donation of 220 lei / 44 euros for a puppy or 165 lei / 33 euros for a cat

-Contact us on social media to confirm

-We’ll match you with an animal in need and you’ll ‘adopt’ them from afar

-You’ll receive regular photos and updates about them for as long as you support them

-You can choose a name, if it doesn’t already have one

-If the animal is physically adopted, we will assign you another animal in need

Every long-distance adoption means food and safety for an animal that would otherwise have no one.

If you cannot cover this amount, we have an alternative. You can contribute whatever you can, and we will direct your donation towards providing other essential care for the animals in the shelter — food, treatment, worming or other urgent needs.

These contributions make it possible for us to continue our work. Without your ongoing support, we would not be able to continue rescuing and caring for animals in need.

You can choose to provide concrete support for an animal in the shelter by covering an essential need:

Multivalent or rabies vaccine: 100 lei / 20 euros

Full worming for puppies: 90 lei / 18 euros

Full deworming for cats: 65 lei / 13 euros

Food for a puppy (1 month): 130 lei / 26 euros

Food for a cat (1 month): 100 lei / 20 euros

Every contribution means prevention, care and the continuation of our rescue work. Even a small gesture helps to sustain this work and provide the best possible life for the animals that come to us.
