Starting from zero is never easy, but sometimes life throws unexpected challenges our way. 

40 days back, I found myself stripped of everything I owned, all because of a conflict over a mere 115 euros.

It’s hard to comprehend how one person’s arrogance could lead to such devastation – losing not just possessions, but my identity, my livelihood, and even my sense of security.

All my belongings, locked behind the doors of my rented apartment, are inaccessible to me. My passport, a symbol of freedom, gone. The weight of starting anew feels overwhelming, like being a newborn navigating a world without guidance or resources.

As I navigate this journey of rebuilding, every step feels like a monumental task. The plants I once nurtured are now withering away, mirroring the state of my emotions and financial stability. But amidst the chaos and despair, there’s a glimmer of hope – the opportunity to rewrite my story, to redefine what it means to start afresh.

I may not have the same resources or stability I once had, but I refuse to let this setback define me. I’m choosing resilience over defeat, determination over despair. So here’s to new beginnings, to resilience in the face of adversity, and to the strength that lies within each of us to rise from the ashes and rebuild, stronger than before.
