My name is Evita, and I am a mother of three wonderful children. Two years ago, our lives changed forever when the father of my two older children took his own life. Since then, my oldest daughter and son have been struggling with depression and insomnia, trying to heal from a loss that no child should ever experience. My youngest daughter’s father has not been involved in her life for a long time, so I am doing my best to be both mother and father to all three of them.

For the past years, I have also faced serious health challenges — severe cramps, chronic insomnia, and exhaustion with no clear medical explanation. These difficulties, combined with emotional and financial strain, made it almost impossible to rebuild our lives back home.

A few months ago, my husband and I decided to move our family to Spain to start fresh. We chose a warmer climate and a simpler life where the sun and slower pace might help us all heal. We have managed to arrange all the legal documents and are ready to work, but for the past two months we haven’t been able to find stable jobs. We’re doing small temporary tasks, but it’s not enough to cover our basic needs.

Right now, our biggest challenge is to get through the winter. We are asking for help to cover two months of rent, buy school books for our daughter, and get a few pieces of furniture to make our apartment feel like a real home.

We are not asking for much — just a little support to help us stay on our feet until we find stable work and can provide for our children again. Any help, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring us closer to safety, stability, and hope.
