Hello,

As the name of the fundraising indicates, I suspect autism in myself.

And so as not to take up too much of anyone's time, I'd like to get straight to the point.

And here's a list of things why I have a suspicion that I myself have ASD:

• when I hear a plastic cup drop near me, it feels like a medium-sized bomb has just exploded (at least),
• I get tired quite quickly on land, but in the water I can stand to swim for about an hour without stopping. Why is this? Well, it's probably because on land the constant stimuli from all sides wear me out, whereas water is the best sensory place for me, the so-called sensory heaven
• I am so sensitive to every movement that I can memorise a dance move just by watching it, as well as inventing my own after hearing a song for the first time. Even though no one ever taught me to dance,
• when I was about four years old, I started calling my uncles by myself, or more precisely by the names of characters from my favourite fairy tale,
• I don't think I understand any of the concepts/constructs invented by man, starting with something like the requirement to greet everyone and ending with the dress code,
• I feel uncomfortable when I'm at someone's house and vice versa: I also feel this way when someone is at my flat; visiting each other in the flat is an extremely incomprehensible concept to me,
• people...? I feel alien among them. In fact, apart from my family members and pets, I currently know two people with whom I feel any kind of bond; I just don't get attached to people. I also don't know how to cooperate with them; sooner or later I'll go to my "corner" to do things there anew and in my own way.

Now a little bit about information outside of autism.

I, in general, would like to be able to earn for myself one day, however, before I have sufficient strength, skills etc, I would like to have some support in terms of financial stability. Because when I manage to raise enough money for my diagnosis, then I will be able to try to apply for a pension (in Poland this is possible - earning some money because disability to live alone).

If I could gain that stability, I would be able to put away a little bit each month for some writing or theatre courses, and perhaps in time cash in my interests to start earning money for myself.

If I get help from you guys, I will return the favour one day and come to help others.

I will also try (but make no promises) to do updates about the diagnosis on a regular basis.
