Benessere Danza is an association in Padua that we have been running for many years with the aim of sports, dance, entertainment and cultural activities. It was born, a bit like our second life, in September 2008 by our own will, say its creators and still artistic directors, Beppe Palombarini and Erika Saggiorato: after years of studying dance, we decided to found a 'place of well-being' where everyone could find a space of freedom, creativity, joy and passion, certainly starting with music and dance in particular, but opening up the boundaries to a general feeling of well-being. Hence, Benessere Danza is addressed to all, without limits of age, ability and possibilities, with the particular aim of making the language of dance, which is experimentation and beauty, accessible.

dance, which is experimentation and the beauty of diversity. Body and soul express themselves in movement, and the aim is for everyone to find the best way to convey this, in an atmosphere of acceptance and friendship.

So in these long 17 years we have, together with our precious and wonderful collaborators, realised many projects, some of which have also received official recognition from Promotional Bodies, Cultural Associations and Public Administrations. We have managed to organise shows, essays, musicals, plays, dance courses and workshops (classical, contemporary, modern, Latin American, Caribbean, hip hop, breakdancing, flamenco, belly dancing, Argentine tango, ballroom dancing and burlesque), as well as theatre, singing, music, instrument, fitness, pilates, stretching and mindfulness. For several years we have organised, in collaboration with the City of Padua, a festival of various arts, ArteForme, with dance, theatre and music performances.

We are also bringing two performances to the theatre in these months of 2025, one of dance, Le Operaie di Porto Marghera (created under the patronage of the City of Venice for the centenary of Porto Marghera and describing the working conditions of women in one of Italy's most important industrial poles) and the second of musical (Hansel and Gretel, with the participation of 10 actors and singers and 10 dancers).

In addition, every year our students participate in competitions and contests, both in classical disciplines (ballet and contemporary dance) and in more modern disciplines (modern dance and hip hop).

What makes us most proud, however, is that we manage to involve so many people in all these activities, irrespective of age (we also run courses in Silver Swans, dance for the elderly, and Marsupio Dance, for breastfeeding mothers and their children) and regardless of ability. From

From this point of view, we are proud to be one of the very few that run Dance Ability courses, in which, in the same room and in the same space, able people, often with years of academic dance studies behind them, move and dance together, finding the right movement and reciprocal interaction, with people with apparent physical limitations and disabilities.

THE PROJECTS

The projects for which we have decided to try to gather supporters and help at this specific time are:

1. A new Dance Ability course, to be realised in the next season 2025-2026, involving many people also and precisely with specific psychophysical characteristics, often seen as limitations and instead a source of stimulus and creativity for us. The course will have to be organised within the spaces of Benessere Danza, with qualified and experienced teachers. There will therefore necessarily be costs for organisation, promotion, management and realisation (publicity, space

room, technological services and teachers). If possible, it would then be nice to be able to organise a short show to be staged in a city theatre (i.e. promotion, room hire, technical service, reimbursement of expenses, SIAE and taxes).

2. New dates for our already completed shows (Le operaie di Porto Marghera and Hansel e Gretel), for which, however, sufficient resources are obviously needed (promotion, event organisation, theatre rental, technical service management, reimbursement of various expenses, SIAE and taxes).
