Łukasz Fruczek (born 1975) artworks are modern but in a dialogue with the past, referring to modernist architecture and functionalism, but showing much more than an empty form; cold and minimalist, and yet hiding away some warmth and vivid emotions. A seemingly simple, ascetic and orderly composition of his paintings may as well, following a moment of contemplation, become a never-ending journey to numerous new dimensions.
