We are a family of four. Two adults and two small children. Our dream is to live a traditional way and let others experience it with us. Me and my boyfriend both had grannies that had small homesteads. Some hens, rabbits, ducks and even cows and pigs. It was very exciting for us when we were kids and we would love to live our lives the same way as ours grannies did. Slow and one with nature. We want to teach our kids how to take care of animals, plants, vegetables and fruits. And not only our kids but others too. Thats why we want to have a mini zoo or contact zoo. So people can come and see the traditional way of living. Feed and pet the animals and buy organic products such as eggs, milk or jams. I have undying passion for horses. Used to be a rider but later in life i didnt have time for it. So horse rides in nature would happen too. But what do we need for That?

Well first we need land. Especially in poland. Poland is wonderful country with magical sceneries and great people. We are looking for land especially in Gorlice district and vilages like Zdynia or Konieczna. We would love our land to be around 60 ares or 6000m². Next we need a house for the four of us. Not too big and not too small. Just enough for us to live comfortably there. Another building that is needed is work room. We need that to make other magic on the homestead like building barns for the animals.

Talking about barns ... we would love to build them more eco friendly way. That means materials that we would use would be wood that someone doesnt need anymore like Wood from old barns or even bricks and stone. So animals would live in recycled barns. Fences would be built the same way.

And last but not least are animals. We will buy hens, ducks, a few sheeps and goats, a cow and a horse or maybe even horses.

So lets do some math.

First we need land for 30 000 - 35 000€

Next we need house for 50 000 - 60 000€

Another thing is work room for 7 000 - 10 000

(Price may be less with buildings. Im not 100% sure about poland house building prices)

So the total is around 100 000 for the necessary buildings and land.
