- The heavy rain that hits Rio Grande do Sul affected 447 of the State's 497 municipalities and caused more than a hundred deaths. The climate disaster also affected the supply of treated water and electricity in hundreds of thousands of properties.
- According to the state Civil Defense bulletin, released at 6pm this Sunday (12), the rain caused 145 deaths.
- At least 806 people were injured. There are at least 132 missing, six fewer than the bulletin at 12pm this Sunday.
- RS has 538,743 thousand homeless people and 81,200 people in shelters.
- On Sunday, Civil Defense issued warnings of new floods in the Caí and Taquari valleys. Seven neighborhoods in Canoas had to be evacuated due to flooding.
- There is more rain forecast for the next few days, which could cause rivers to rise again and new water level records.

Southern Brazil is experiencing the worst flood in the last 80 years.
- More than half of the state of Rio Grande do Sul is in an emergency situation, and the state has declared a public calamity in the region.
- houses, roads and bridges have been destroyed and the transportation of supplies is being compromised.
- Unfortunately, 24 people have already lost their lives, 20 are missing and more than 14.000 are homeless because their homes were hit by water.
- The forecast for the next few days is for even more rain.
