Subject: Request for assistance: Saving 35 years of family history following the Csepel fire

Dear Supporters!

On 19 February 2026,ataround 7 pm,anelectricalfire broke out and completely destroyedour premises (owned by Art-Ur Bt and operated by Ferrodeco Kft.) at 1211 Budapest-Csepel, Damage was also caused to the third halland the neighbouring buildings. Unfortunately, we did not have insurance. Thank God no one was injured.

My husband is a qualified metallurgical engineer and has been a self-employed entrepreneur since 1991. He is an incredibly hard-working man who, as a father of two, built up this small business from scratchover the course of 35 years. He will beturning 70 this year. The renovation of the premises was completed in December 2025, and then this disaster struck him in February.

Given our advanced age, a loan is no longer an option. If we had the necessary financial resources, my husband would liketo rebuild thefactory so that he can bring his career to a fitting conclusion, provide for his family and continue to provide work for our employees.

On 19 February 2026, at around 7:00 pm, an electrical fire broke out and completely destroyed our premises at 1211 Budapest-Csepel, Öntöde u. 3-5. The 150 m² main hall and the adjacent 40 m² small plant (owned by Art-Ur Bt and operated by Ferrodeco Kft.) were burnt to the ground. Damage was also sustained in a third hall and neighbouring buildings. Unfortunately, we did not have insurance. Thank God, no one was injured.

My husband is a qualified metallurgical engineer and has been an entrepreneur since 1991. He is an exceptionally hard-working man who, as a father of two, spent 35 years building this small business from the ground up through his own efforts. He celebrates his 70th birthday this year. The renovation of the site was only completed in December 2025, only for this disaster to strike in February.
