Let’s help Levi build a new life ❤️
There are moments in life when everything changes from one day to the next. When the future we thought was certain suddenly becomes uncertain, and all that remains is hope.
For us as parents, that moment came on 5 November 2025. Our son, Levi, was admitted to hospital in a life-threatening condition at the age of just 16 and a half. Just a few weeks earlier, he had been a cheerful, energetic boy who loved travelling and was full of plans and dreams.
The diagnosis was devastating: pulmonary arterial hypertension – a serious, incurable condition for which the only real hope of treatment was a lung transplant.
Long months followed, filled with fear, hope and struggle. By the summer of 2026, Levi’s condition had become critical, and he was finally placed on the transplant waiting list as an urgent case.
The operation began on the evening of 21 July.
The longest night of our lives followed.
At dawn the next day, we received the news that we will never forget:
The operation was a success.
Our son had been given a new lease of life.
Since then, however, a new, long journey has begun. Following the lung transplant, we had to completely transform our home and Levi’s environment so that he could heal and recover in safe conditions.
Among other things, we needed:
to create a clean, suitable environment
to buy new furniture
air purifiers and a robot vacuum cleaner
ensuring the hygiene standards required at all times
During the treatments and his stay in hospital, we travelled to see Levi every single day. The fuel and parking costs alone amounted to a monthly expense of around 300,000 Ft for us.
In addition, due to his transplant, Levi will need to take medication for the rest of his life, which represents a continuous, long-term financial burden for our family.
Taken together, all of this presents a significant challenge for us.
That is why we are now turning to you for help.
We would like to use the donations we receive to ensure that Levi has suitable, safe living conditions, to cover the costs associated with his recovery and treatment, and, when his condition allows, to make one of his biggest dreams come true: to visit the place he has always longed to go.
Every contribution helps Levi to continue rebuilding his life, regain his everyday routine, and look to the future with new plans.
We are grateful for every share, every donation and every kind word.
Thank you for helping Levi build a new life.
