My name is Ihar, I am Hanna’s father. In July 2024, our world turned upside down: my little daughter (8 years old) was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor — diffuse midline glioma. We were devastated; it felt like our whole world had collapsed. In Belarus, Hanna underwent surgery to remove the tumor and received a course of radiation therapy. Since November 2024, she participated in a clinical trial of a new drug, ONC206, in Switzerland.

But in July 2025, we received terrible news: the tumor is growing again, and the drug we had hoped for no longer works. Hanna was excluded from the study. Our hearts are breaking, but doctors gave us a chance — CAR-T therapy, an innovative treatment that could save her life. Jingdu Children’s Hospital (China) is ready to perform the therapy, but the cost is $65,000 (or 55500€). Currently, Hanna is undergoing repeat radiation therapy in Belarus, and CAR-T therapy in China is her only chance to survive.
