Wir sind Something, Something – eine noch-nicht-berühmte (aber definitiv unvergessliche) Alternative-Rock-Band aus Magdeburg, Deutschland.

Wir haben große Träume, 12 intensive Songs – und genau null Euro auf dem Bandkonto. Noch. Und da kommt ihr ins Spiel.

Unser Ziel?

4.000 € sammeln, um mit der Aufnahme unseres Debütalbums zu beginnen und unsere erste Tour im Dezember 2025 vorzubereiten.

Es geht hier nicht um irgendeine Rockstar-Fantasie. Es geht darum zu beweisen, dass Local Bands matter – und dass eine Band aus Sachsen-Anhalt die Musikwelt aufmischen kann, ohne das Bundesland zu verlassen.

Wir bewerben uns auch für das renommierte Musik Initiative - Stipendium. Aber – Plot Twist – die geben uns ihre 6.000 € nur, wenn wir vorher selbst 4.000 € aufbringen. Und nein, emotionale Dispo-Kredite zählen nicht.

Warum das zählt:

Diese Band wurde bei einer Jamsession in Musikbar Flower Power geboren, als ein Mädchen auftauchte, um ein bisschen unbeabsichtigten Lärm zu machen – und am Ende „für zwei Typen spielte, die eigentlich nur nach Hause wollten.“

Aus Spaß sagte sie: „Ich brauche eine Band.“ Einer der beiden nahm das ernst – und ihre Nummer. Der Rest? Wurde Something, Something.

Seitdem ist dieses Projekt ein Rettungsanker – ein Ort für Ausdruck, Heilung und rohe Kreativität.

Wir haben keinen Plattenvertrag. Keine Investor*innen.

Aber wir haben Mut, Songs und Magdeburger Sonnenschein im Herzen.

Wir glauben an Geschichten, die echt klingen. An Musik, die nach Leben klingt. Und an eine Szene, die auch ohne Berlin oder L.A. Bedeutung hat.

🎸 Help Us Record Our Album & Hit the Road – One Local Dream at a Time

Hi. We’re Something, Something – a not-yet-famous (but definitely unforgettable) alternative rock band from Magdeburg, Germany. We’ve got big dreams, 12 intense songs, and exactly zero euros in the band account. Yet. That’s where you come in.

Our goal?

To raise €4,000 to start recording our debut album and prepare for our first tour that we want to start in December 2025. This isn’t just about us chasing some hazy rockstar fantasy. This is about proving that local bands matter – and that a group from Sachsen-Anhalt can shake up the music world without leaving home.

We’re also applying for the prestigious Initiative Musik scholarship. But – plot twist – they won’t give us their €6,000 unless we can show we’ve already raised €4,000 ourselves. And no, emotional overdrafts don’t count.

So here we are:

Two musicians, one dream, a handful of microphones, and a big belief in community-powered art. Whether you're a friend, a fan, or just someone who loves backing the underdog, your support will help us:

- Professionally record our album by ourselves then mix it and master in professional studio Saxony-Anhalt

- Album of 12 original songs that we’ve poured our souls into, and cover promotional costs

- Cover early tour costs to bring this music to the people – especially in small towns that don’t get enough live music love

Why this matters

This band was born at a jam session at Flower Power in Magdeburg, where one girl showed up to make some unintentional noise – and ended up "playing for two guys who actually wanted to go home". As a joke, she said “I need a band.” One of those guys took her seriously — and took her number. The rest? It became Something, Something.

Since then, this project has become a lifeline — a space for expression, healing, and raw creativity.

We don’t have label deals. We don’t have big investors.

What we do have is guts, songs, and Magdeburg sunshine in our hearts.

We believe in telling stories that feel real. Songs that sound like life. And building a music scene that doesn’t depend on Berlin or LA to feel important.
