Dear Sirs, I am a Bulgarian Yoga specialist and practitioner living in Sofia, Bulgaria. I would like to ask you to help me finish my first nonfiction book on the advanced Hatha Yoga meditation, Samadhi. The book is half-ready at the moment, but I need one final support in order to finish and publish it. ...You lay down on your back in a quiet, not cold and not very hot room. Try to relax for a while. Close your eyes and see in the point between your eyes. Then start to withdraw the sense from your legs beginning from the tips of your legs' thumbs. Continue further with your body and arms. Gradually you will feel that your limbs start to tingle. Now start to control your breath. Start to Inhale and keep your breath as long as you can then exhale. Now you feel cold in your whole body. Do not control your breathing anymore, just lie and try to imagine that your body is very light and floating on the surface of a calm valley river... ...Your whole body will shake in left and start to rise to near the selling. What! What happened? Am I experiencing levitation? The first thought is very frightened. You open your eyes and see that you are still lying on the floor but you DON'T FEEL the floor, you don't feel your legs, arms, or your body at all - you are in Samadhi. I have more than 25 years of Hatha Yoga experience and managed to achieve Samadhi in the third year of my practice with a complex of asanas, cleaning procedures, breathing techniques and meditation. My regular training program is 5 times a week, 2 times per day - morning before sun rice and evening at sunset. Usually, I go in the state of Samadhi after my evening practice. Although the yoga asanas and their practice is well explained and well-known, the more complex, difficult and even extraordinary practices which are very important are still put aside and therefore not known and understood from most of the Yoga followers. Some of these practices are the cleaning procedures of the nose, tongue, stomach, the whole digestive tract, breath techniques and the final stage of the Yoga meditation - Samadhi. In the last few years, I saw a lot of interpretations on the Samadhi theme in Internet and in some books, which were not competent, exact and quite close to the reality. Some explanations of Samadhi are even funny. That is quite natural because almost all of the people who write about Samadhi never experienced this meditation state and just try to explain it theoretically supporting themselves with the classical Yoga sources and explanations of the great Yoga Gurus Patanjali and Sivananda. I decided to share my own experiences and practices with other people and to unveil the truth for the final stage of the Yoga meditation – Samadhi, to tell the people that everyone could achieve this stage just with a simply way of life, some asanas and constancy. I am still in the research stage of my writing and I will use all the fundraising I ask here for my research costs as library charges, travel expenses, books, publications and Internet sources that I will need to write the book. I will also use the funds for translation and editing the book in English. The book will be free from any religion/sect preach and will be aimed purely to the improvement of the physical and psychological human health. The book will be very helpful to people with physical and psychological problems, cancer and drug abuse problems, recovery after incidents, operations or others and may be used by sport conditional coaches, doctors and other medical staff or holistic practitioners. In the book I will cover also the connections of Yoga asanas and meditation with general health, massages, acupuncture, relaxation and the fight against fatigue. Even more - at the end of the book I will try to explain that the state of Samadhi is in fact a state of human anabiosis and can be adapted and used in the future long-distance spaceship travels. The main advantage of the book will be my personal attitude and experience which I want to share with the other followers of Yoga and all the people in the world and to tell them that we don't need any new drugs or miracles to keep our health and mind at top condition. We just need a little time for ourselves, a bit of effort and constancy. Thank you for your time and attention to my request.
