This is Nessi, my 12-year-old dog who is a beautiful angel with a gentle heart still full of life. Unfortunately, Nessi had to battle cancer at the age of 6 back in 2018, but as strong willed as she is, she managed to survive 2 surgeries on the brink of life and death. However, on February 7th this year we discovered that a very aggressive form of cancer has come back for her - this time attacking each and every one of her lymph nodes (B-cell Lymphoma).

As a senior dog Nessi has been given less than a month to live - unless - we can afford to start a course of 25 week chemotherapy that can improve her health and send her into remission. Nessi, a Hungarian Vizsla that has a lot of life left in her, still has hope to live. Through raising funds, I’m determined to give Nessi a chance to live out the rest of her life happy, painless and cancer-free!

I’m a full time student and I’m working to afford Nessi’s weekly blood tests, 25 weeks of chemotherapy, infusions, medications, X-rays ect. So far we’ve done a CT-scan to reveal that the cancer has spread to all lymph nodes. A whole lymph nodule was sent from Bulgaria to Laboklin clinic in Germany, diagnosing her as follicular B-cell Lymphoma. The chemotherapy drugs are not available in Bulgaria and they have to be purchased from Greece and Romania. The protocol for the chemotherapy is uploaded and the CT will be uploaded once we receive it from the clinic. So far, I’ve spent €600 for the diagnostic procedure and approx. €250 for the first line of medication. However, I’m raising funds for a new chemotherapy drug available in Germany and the US, called Tanovia, which can cost up to €4625 for Nessi’s course duration and body weight, as well as infusions and vet fees. Nessi is an amazing dog with a loving family doing everything in their power to save her. Every bit of donation is appreciated and goes a long way. Thank you!
