Hi, my name is Mike Turner. I live in Cyprus, a small Mediterranean island rich in history and ancient Archaeological Sites.

I want to make Cyprus’ Heritage more accessible to everyone, and help preserve it for future generations.

I am an EASA A1/A3 + A2 Certified Drone Pilot, with 8 years Aerial Photography experience and I create Digital 3D Models using Aerial Data collected by flying a drone with sensors above a location. 

These 3D Digital Models are interactive via touchscreen. They have 5.4K Photographic detail, and can provide an immersive, informative and fun way to explore Cyprus’ Archaeological Sites from anywhere in the World. 

The Project embraces Smart Tourism, and is ideal for the creation of Virtual Tours. It would also provide valuable Educational Resources for Students, Scholars and others in the field of Archaeology as well as the General Public.

I intend to start with the Aerial Mapping of Heritage Sites in Cyprus, but it is my dream to travel the World with my drone, and create 3D Digital Models of all the Great Ancient Archaeological Sites in Mexico, Peru, Egypt, Turkey, Cambodia, Indonesia etc.
