Help Marta Beat Rare Cancer!

My fundraiser has been going on for some time now. Thanks to your kind hearts, I was able to survive the following months of fighting my illness — and for that, I am deeply grateful. Unfortunately, in August of this year, the system completely refused to provide me with any further support. That was the moment when I felt that I had been left alone with something that no one should ever have to carry by themselves.
For over two years, I have been unable to work. Our household is supported solely by my husband — he works, takes care of me (as I am mostly bedridden or only able to sit), runs the entire household, looks after our daughter, pays the bills, and handles everything we need to live. I know how enormous the burden on his shoulders is, and that is exactly why... asking for anything is the hardest thing, especially when you have never had to do it before. But I also know that strength alone will not defeat this illness — I need support in order to continue the methods that still give me hope.
The funds from this fundraiser are now being used for:
- a hydrogen generator, which may help support my body’s regeneration and bring some relief in everyday functioning,
- alternative methods supporting treatment that are not reimbursed or covered by any system,
- natural supplements and remedies that allow me to function at least a little better each day.
This is very difficult for me, but your kindness reminds me that even in the darkest moments, a person does not have to be alone.
Every form of support — even a symbolic one — is an immense help to me and a ray of hope that pushes me to keep fighting.

Descripció
My name is Marta, I'm 42 years old, and I'm a mother of a teenage daughter.
In 2023, I was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer - cholangiocarcinoma (which affects only 2% of the population). Due to the diagnosis, I underwent one of the most difficult robotic surgeries using the Whipple procedure. This meant that my duodenum was removed, my gallbladder was excised, and part of my pancreas was resected. Additionally, the surgeon performed specialized connections using a robot.
My family and I hoped that this sad story would end there. Unfortunately, the disease decided to stay with me longer... Metastases to the peritoneum, lungs, and bones are just a part of this new chapter that has completely changed my life... Currently, I am an oncology patient undergoing chemotherapy sessions with great hope for a better tomorrow. I have never asked for anything in my life; I was an independent working woman with big plans and dreams.
Today, only one thing remains - to live as long as possible. If my story has touched you even a little, you are certainly a good person. If you decide to help me financially, my gratitude will be expressed with a sincere THANK YOU!
All donations will go towards medical bills, treatments, and everyday life.
