donez.org is designed to simplify the donation process for NGOs and donors alike. Here’s how it works:

1. NGO Registration and Verification:

• NGOs can sign up by submitting their Unique Identification Code (CUI) and registration certificate.

• Upon document verification, NGOs become active on the platform.

2. Account Activation:

• Once activated, the NGO administrator can complete the NGO’s details and create various causes for donations.

3. User Registration and Management:

• Users can register with an email and password, or via Facebook or Google.

• The user registering the NGO becomes the administrator and can invite other users as administrators.

4. Creating and Managing Causes:

• NGOs can create donation causes once their account is active.

• Other users can donate items for auction, set a bidding deadline, and a starting price.

5. Bidding and Notifications:

• Users can bid on donated items and leave comments on the auction.

• Once the bidding deadline is reached, the highest bidder is notified as the auction winner.

• The winner is instructed to make the payment to one of the NGO’s IBAN accounts and upload proof of payment.

6. Verification and Shipping:

• NGO administrators verify the payment.

• Upon successful verification, the donor is notified to prepare the item for shipping.

• Donors can update the item’s status once shipped, and winners are notified of the shipping initiation.

7. Completion and Feedback:

• Upon receiving the item, the winner can mark the transaction as complete and leave a rating and review for the donor.

• Before bidding, users must provide their name, phone number, and address for shipping purposes.

Throughout the auction process, all participants - donors, bidders, and NGO administrators - receive notifications via email and the app. User information is protected and never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
