All alone with cat in quiet and empty house.

Asking for help is something that is really hard for me. Until now I was the one who supported money collections, especially for two causes close to my heart- animals and seniors in difficult life situation. Unfortunately now I'm forced to ask for help.

It's been a month since I said goodbye to my mother who I was taking care of. She was a handicap person, in need of full care. To be able to take care of her I had to gave up my job. In November last year I applied for a benefit for people taking full care of a handicap person. To this day I have not received any help, meanwhile my mother died and I'm still in the process of exchanging letters with an institution which denies help in my situation.

After my mother's death I found myself in a very difficult life situation. All the money savings that I had were used to pay for the funeral. Currently due to my health condition, my only income is illness benefit which is not enough to buy food and pay monthly bills.

On April 15th I have a scheduled hysterectomy, due to the enormous fibroids causing bleedings which won't let me function normally. After the surgery I will need few months to recover and I will not be able to start any work which can provide me an income. I'm living all alone in a house, just with my cat. My gas bills are enormous. I need money for food for me and cat and for paying the bills.

Another problem that I'm currently facing is that my gas furnace is severely damaged- two main elements, including the pomp are not working properly, which may cause that in every moment my furnace can stop working and me and the cat will find ourselves in a cold house, in winter. According to the handyman, those parts of furnace cannot be replaced as they are not available, so the only solution is the new furnace, but the amount for the new furnace is enormous and out of my reach.
