Hello!

My name is Agnieszka, and I would like to share the story of my two wonderful dogs, who need your help to return to full health.

Kira (about 8 years old) is a lovely German Shepherd mix I adopted in 2019 from a temporary home in Lublin, Poland. Despite her age, Kira is full of love and joy. Unfortunately, her health is increasingly problematic. She has been diagnosed with:

• Discogenic narrowing of the intervertebral spaces L3-L4-L5
• Spondylosis L6-L7
• Symptoms of hip joint degeneration
• Muscle atrophy in her hind legs
• Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, requiring ongoing treatment

Kira is currently being tested for an autoimmune disease.

Nord (about 8 years old), also a German Shepherd mix, joined our pack in May this year. I adopted him from the "Na Paluchu" shelter in Warsaw, Poland. Unfortunately, Nord began showing very aggressive behavior towards other dogs - behavior he did not exhibit in the shelter or during our initial walks together. To be frank, I was not prepared for such a dog and was unaware of his problems. I wasn’t ready for these challenges, but Nord is incredibly loving and deserves a chance. I am doing everything I can to cope with this - working with a behaviorist, attending training sessions, and even enrolling in a trainer and behaviorist course to better understand and help him (total cost over 3200 EUR).

Additionally, since Nord joined us, I have spent around 2500 EUR on veterinarians for a full diagnosis. Because of all these expenses, my savings have been exhausted.

For Kira and Nord, the orthopedist recommended rehabilitation, including hydrotherapy and manual therapy. Kira also requires ongoing treatment for her pancreatic issues and potential autoimmune disease. Nord, fortunately, only needs muscle strengthening and improved physical condition alongside behavioral therapy.

That’s why I am asking for your help. Every contribution will assist me in continuing to care for Kira and Nord, providing them with rehabilitation, appropriate veterinary care, and ongoing behavioral therapy. Your support will allow my dogs to regain their health and enjoy life free from pain and stress.
