Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I come to you with a plea for help in a battle against pancreatic cancer that has deeply impacted our family. In July 2023, my father, Grosu Lucian Ovidiu, a dedicated firefighter who has spent his life selflessly serving others, received the devastating diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Despite the immense challenges, he underwent a courageous surgery to remove the tumor from his pancreas, a procedure that cost us 29,000 euros.

While the surgery was successful in removing the pancreatic tumor, there remains a significant challenge ahead. Tumoral tissue has been detected on his liver, necessitating further treatment to combat this relentless disease. The next crucial step in his fight against cancer is a treatment for the liver tumor, which comes with a daunting price tag of 44,000 euros.

As a family, we have exhausted our financial resources to ensure my father receives the best possible care. However, the cost of this life-saving treatment is beyond our means. We refuse to let financial constraints stand in the way of my father's chance for survival and a better quality of life.
