We're Lars and Sandra, and we're reaching out to our community for a bit of support. As we approach our 25th wedding anniversary, we find ourselves reflecting on our journey together-a journey marked by love, resilience, and some unexpected hurdles along the way. Unfortunately, finances have been a significant challenge for us. Despite working hard and diligently, we haven't been able to afford a holiday for over two decades. Our dream of exploring new places and creating cherished memories has remained just that-a dream. Our financial struggles began over 20 years ago when Lars was involved in a serious car accident, which left us both hospitalised and our finances in disarray. Despite seeking help from debt counsellors and tirelessly trying to climb out of debt, the burden has only grown over the years. We're now at a point where we're reluctantly selling our home, and even the flat we rent is being sold, leaving us with a looming debt of $125,000. The weight of these challenges has been especially heavy for Sandra, who is deaf, adding an extra layer of difficulty to our journey. but despite the hardships, we remain hopeful. With your support, we hope to finally take the holiday we've been dreaming of-a chance to celebrate our enduring love and resilience over the past 25 years.
