Description
Dear friends,
My name is Tereza Jirková and, as a social worker, I am turning to you with a humble request for help. The values of humanity and compassion are extremely important to me, and it is these values that motivate me to respond to the drastically worsening situation in the Gaza Strip. The local population is facing immeasurable suffering caused by the lack of humanitarian aid.
People here have lost access to basic necessities.
Drinking water is almost unattainable, food prices are skyrocketing, and the threat of famine is a daily reality.
Life in inhumane conditions is a sad reality for thousands of families.
I have therefore decided to initiate a fundraiser for Jamila Said (30), an educated pharmacist who is fighting for survival in northern Gaza. I believe that through human solidarity, we can work together to contribute to a more dignified life for Jamila and her family.
Jamila shares her story, which reflects the cruelty of the reality of war. She has no job, her dreams and ambitions have been destroyed by the war and occupation. Unable to provide treatment for her sick parents, she faces a daily struggle for drinking water and food.
The family suffers not only from malnutrition but also from skin infections resulting from living in a tent without sanitary conditions.
Jamila's mother, a former teacher, lost sight in one eye during the bombing of their house. However, there are no funds for treatment abroad. Her father, who had thyroid cancer and gallbladder surgery, was captured during the war and remains without medical care after his release, which continues to worsen his condition. The horrific consequences of war have also affected Jamila's brother, who suffered serious injuries to his hand in a hidden bomb explosion, leaving him without fingers.
A total of 13 family members, including four small children, live with Jamila in a tent. The youngest of them, a girl named Misk, was born in July 2025 during the genocidal war and severe famine.
It is extremely difficult for the family to secure basic necessities such as milk, diapers, and hygiene products.
Help for Jamila is urgently needed - not only for the treatment of her family members, but also for food, medicine, and hygiene supplies for the children.
Every contribution plays a vital role in the journey towards a better and more dignified life for Jamila and her loved ones.
Please help make their reality more bearable.
Thank you for your support.

The values of humanity and humanity are extremely close to my heart, and it is these values that motivate me to respond to the drastically worsening situation in the Gaza Strip. The local population is facing incalculable suffering caused by the unavailability of humanitarian aid.
People here have lost access to very basic needs.
Drinking water is almost unavailable, food prices are rising to astronomical heights, and the threat of famine is a daily reality.
