Unfortunately, since our daughter was born, we haven’t been able to take her on holiday anywhere at all given the current prices, but she always hears from her friends every summer or at the end of the summer about where they’ve been and what they’ve seen. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to go on holiday; it is incredibly expensive for us to go anywhere, even for just 2–3 days. However, it is a terrible feeling for us to listen to her stories, and it must be hard for her too that she cannot go on holiday. We’d like to make this dream come true with this fundraiser. ​Unfortunately, ever since our daughter was born, we haven’t been able to take her on a holiday due to today’s high prices. Every summer and at the end of the season, she always listens to her friends sharing stories about where they went and what they saw. It breaks our hearts to hear her talk about this, and it must be just as hard for her to feel left out. Regrettably, going on a holiday is something we simply cannot afford; even a short 2–3 day trip anywhere is far too expensive for us right now.
