A few years ago, we got two beautiful, wonderful kittens from Petra. She did everything she could to make sure we got the cats we’d been hoping for. Two days ago, we saw the terrible news on Facebook that a fire had destroyed her home and that 24 animals had perished in the blaze. (For those who don’t know, Petra breeds cats and dogs from her home, which is why so many animals were involved).

The horror of that moment is unimaginable. But however difficult it may be, life goes on.

The loss caused by such a tragedy can never be compensated for, but there are so many additional costs and so much stress that we feel the least we can do as proud and happy owners of Petra’s cats is to help by donating some money to her and her family. We hope you feel the same way.
