Dear friends, colleagues and kind-hearted people,

Thanks to your support, we were able to make a kidney transplant possible in Turkey, a vital step in the lives of my wife and myself. You stood by us at a crucial moment and our gratitude cannot be expressed in words. Every donation, every encouraging message and every kind thought has given us hope and strength.

Now, six months after the operation, we have to go back to Turkey for a crucial medical check-up, which will confirm the success of the transplant and make sure that everything is going as it should. It is a check-up on which our long-term health and safety depend.

Unfortunately, the costs of this journey and the investigations are beyond our means and again we need your support. We know that many of you have already helped us and that is why it is difficult for us to ask again... But life has taught us that the fight is not over after one step and that together we are stronger.

Any amount, however small, brings us closer to that chance. Even one distribution of this message can make a difference. We are not asking for luxuries, but for life. For the safety of the transplant that was only possible because of you.
