Life/the universe/fate/fate/divinity has been very generous to me. I am grateful, thankful and enjoying every moment. On 8 October I will mark another year of joy, of life.

This year I don't want presents!

What I would like, is to turn wishes and gifts into empathy and support.

I have been working for the Romanian Transplant Association (ATR) for 29 years, and almost 30 years ago I received a new chance at life: a kidney transplant, when .... a few more months on dialysis would have meant "the end of the story"! And because I am part of the history of kidney transplantation in Romania, because back then, in 1995, everything was STILL in its infancy, because I knew what had happened since 1980 and I wanted my chance to be given to as many sufferers as possible, I joined the initiative group that made the birth of ATR possible.

And ATR has been in existence for 29 years thanks to the voluntary work of its members and the financial support of people who understand how important it is to find a foothold when the ground is slipping away from under your feet. That's why I DONATE my birthday and invite you to join those who make it possible for ATR to exist and continue its mission.
