Dear Reader, Dear Supporters!
My name is Sándor Kecskés. I live with a rare, severe muscular dystrophy disease, SMA. This disease makes it harder every day to move around, to be independent - and often even the most basic things become a serious obstacle.
I live with my father, who has been supporting me alone for many years, as neither my mother nor my grandmothers are alive.
We have an 18-year-old car that used to be our faithful companion, but nowadays, in keeping with its age and the fact that we use it a lot, it breaks down more and more often. The frequency of servicing and the high cost of servicing it has almost eaten up all our financial resources.
Our old car is no longer safe or reliable - but for the time being, it's all we have.
The car is essential for us, for regular trips to the doctor, for treatments, check-ups and daily chores, in short, it keeps me alive in line with my illness.
I want you to know that I work, despite my illness, because I believe that as long as I can give to the world, I have a place in it. I am grateful to my employer, who employs me in a job that I can do at home, but this is 'only' enough to support us, it is not enough to buy a car.
That's why I'm starting this collection.
My goal: HUF 6 million, which would allow me to buy a safe 4-5 year old car, including the modification, that can be adapted to my illness.
I know there are many people asking for help, but I know there are many who want to donate. If you are one of those people who would like to help, I can now be one of those who gratefully receives your support.
Please help me - either with a small donation or even by sharing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about my plight. If you feel touched, please join the donors.
I thank you in advance for your heartfelt support and wish you all the best! Sándor Kecskés

I live with my father, who has been helping me with my everyday life alone for many years, since neither my mother nor my grandmothers are alive anymore.

Our old car is no longer safe or reliable - but for now, it is all we have.
We absolutely need the car, for regular trips to the doctor, treatments, check-ups, and daily tasks, in short, it ensures my survival in line with my illness.
I would like you to know that I work, despite my illness, because I believe that as long as I can give to the world, I have a place in it. I am grateful to my employer, who employs me in work that can be done at home, but this "only" helps us make a living, we cannot afford to buy a car from this.
That is why I am starting this foundraising now.
My goal: 6 million forints, from which I could buy a 4-5 year old, safe car that can be adapted to my illness, including the conversion.
I know that many people are asking for help, but I know that there are many who would like to give. If you are one of those people who would like to help, then I can now be one of those who gratefully accepts your support.
Please help me - even with a small donation or a share.
Thank you very much for taking the time to learn about my story. If you feel touched by it, please join the donors. I thank you in advance for your heartfelt support, and I wish you all the best! Sándor Kecskés
