Description
1623 - seven years after the bard's passing, two of William Shakespeare's friends and fellow actors decided to edit and publish 36 of the plays, 19 of them for the first time. Today, we call that book Shakespeare's First Folio. Without it, more than half of the plays would have been lost forever.
2023 - four hundred years later, I decided to rewrite the thirty-six stories, and deliver them as short pseudo-essays to all the 21st century interested readers.
The funds will be used to publish an elegant edition of 400 hardcover copies of the book. One hundred of them will be donated to public and university libraries within the E.U.
