Dear brothers and sisters of Neomondismo,

we write to you with open hearts, sharing with you a sacred and unique moment in our lives: the birth of our daughter, whom we shall name Arya.

Our deepest wish is that her arrival into the world takes place in harmony with Nature, respecting the time required by body and spirit, without external impositions. A natural birth in which:

- the umbilical cord is not cut immediately, allowing Arya to fully receive the life-giving gift of the placenta;

- subsequently, the placenta – whose ‘print’ resembles the shape of a tree – will be returned to the Goddess by planting it alongside a new tree, as a symbol of life generating life;

- the mother can give birth in a position that is more natural and suited to our body type;

- everything takes place in an environment free from the rigidity of official healthcare facilities, which here in Brazil, where we are living, are very restrictive, especially regarding vaccinations and mandatory procedures that we do not wish to impose on our daughter.

This is why we have chosen to give birth at home, supported by an experienced holistic professional who has already attended over a hundred births and who can guarantee us safety, peace of mind and respect for our principles.

Our financial situation, however, does not allow us to cover the additional costs of this choice on our own. With my online work, I manage to cover rent and food, but nothing more; and my partner, who has been working as a street artisan for years, has been unable to continue her business during the final months of her pregnancy. For this reason, with humility and solidarity, we ask for your support. Every contribution, large or small, will be a seed that will help us ensure Arya is born according to Neomondist principles, as the Goddess would wish: free, welcomed, respected.
