The beginning of the end. [January 2024]

Maria (27), mother of Helena (6) & Michelle (4) is on her way from Lower Austria to Nuremberg with her Polo to "say goodbye" to her terminally ill grandmother and that her grandmother will look into the faces that love her shortly before she loses her strength.

But unfortunately this did not happen....

Shortly before Munich, there was a serious accident with a lorry that not only ended two lives, but turned two more lives upside down.

Helena is killed instantly in the collision, and her mother loses the fight on the way to hospital.

Michelle is so badly injured that she is put into an induced coma.

When Michael (34) (Maria's brother or step-brother) hears about this, he immediately sets off for Germany to be with Michelle as quickly as possible.

After 2.5 weeks, the little girl is out of danger and after almost 3 months she is allowed to leave the hospital.

Although she will carry mental and physical limitations with her for the rest of her life, she is happy, laughs, sings, loves painting and has found a father in Michael. (Since her biological father left the three of them for a New Zealander in 2021, and he doesn't want to know anything about her even after the accident).

For Michael, there is never a day when he doesn't fight, when he doesn't hang his head and when he still doesn't give up and tries to make every day as beautiful as possible for Michelle.

And this despite the fact that Michael himself has an 8-year-old daughter, and also despite the fact that he himself has physical limitations since he took early retirement after his accident at work.

What's more, this terrible stroke of fate caused him a financial collapse and left him with a mountain of debt. He paid for the funeral and gravestones of Helena and Maria, which left him with a debt of almost €13,000.

Anyone who knows Michi knows what a fighter he is, even though he doesn't look like one. He puts himself on the back burner every day, is lonely and sacrifices himself for his "two" daughters.

I hope soooooo much that we can get €33,000 together for Michael and Michelle and finally relieve him of a few worries, namely the future treatments and care for Michelle, as well as his debts from the funeral, which he is paying off month by month, instalment by instalment and saving on himself.
