Acid Plato is currently putting the finishing touches on a sonic journey inspired by the tale of Prometheus and his rebellion against the authority of Zeus, ultimately showing the will to aid mankind in their progress by providing them with the means to survive.

While we have written and recorded the musical section of this journey, we still have a long way to go in creating a fully immersive experience that will take an audience through a fully realized artistic journey, and we need your help to do that.

To fully bring Horòs to life, we have created a theatrical production that will include a troupe of dancers, actors, as well as a live performance of the album in its entirety as an anchor to the story.

In order to secure a space, compensate all the artists who will be involved in this production, and record this performance, we need 10000 Euros, and we’re asking everyone to contribute in any way possible to turn this concept into a reality — if you can give one Euro, give one. If you can give five, even better. No amount is too small to help us on our way with this project.

The album and play showcase the internal conflicts of man and his attempt to discover his identity and purpose, both within the physical world and alongside his fellow man.

Prometheus constantly questions the authority of Zeus and ultimately shows the strength of will to aid man’s progress by providing him with the means to survive, but this selfless act of rebellion isn’t enough — humankind squanders these gifts.

Instead of using them selflessly for the betterment of all, they blindly participate in systems that perpetuate division, conflict, and war, leading the audience into an exploration of what it means to be humane, not simply human.
