Our little Trottolina came home dragging her feet yesterday, sore and covered in blood after being run over by someone.

The vet came over to disinfect and bandage her wounds, waiting to take her to the surgery this morning for a more thorough examination.

Today, with ultrasound and X-ray, it was accepted that she has no fractures but a torn ligament in her hind leg, as well as an effusion in the kidney area that needs to be monitored.

In order to try to ensure that she can return to her former life, without being completely lame, a ligament reconstruction operation costing around €700 is required, in addition to all the costs we are normally incurring for visits, specialist examinations and hospitalisation at the surgery.
