Hello,

My name is Xenia, and today I am asking for help for someone who means the world to me—my dog, Hector.

Hector is a 10-year-old Red Nose Pit Bull who has been my faithful companion for the past ten years. He has been by my side through every difficult and happy moment of my life, always giving me unconditional love. Now, he needs my help more than ever.

A few days ago, Hector was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. His X-rays show the damage to his joints, and I will also share a video so you can see how difficult it has become for him to walk.

The hardest part is that we live on the second floor, and Hector must climb stairs every day. The veterinarians treating him were very clear: continuing to use the stairs will make his condition worse. They advised me that the best solution is either to move to a ground-floor home or install a 7-meter stair lift so Hector can safely go up and down without suffering.

At the moment, Hector has started treatment with Librela injections and anti-inflammatory medication to help reduce his pain. These treatments improve his comfort, but they cannot stop the damage caused by climbing stairs every day.

I contacted several companies, and the lowest price I received for the stair lift is €2,000. Unfortunately, I cannot afford this amount on my own.

I never imagined I would have to ask for help like this, but I cannot watch my best friend suffer when there is a solution that could make such a difference in his life.
