My 14-year-old daughter, Vanessa, fell from a tree from a height of approximately four meters. Her spinal cord is 90% crushed in the cervical region, her vertebrae are shattered, she has a broken leg, and she suffers from quadriplegia, or paralysis from the neck down. The day of June 28, 2024, will be forever etched in our memories. Vanessa and her friend Lena were climbing their favorite tree, something they had done hundreds of times before. They were taking selfies, recording videos, chatting, and gossiping—a typical day. Suddenly, Vanessa slipped and fell to the ground, losing consciousness. Lena immediately called for help, and neighbors rushed over. An ambulance arrived swiftly. I was notified and was at the scene in what felt like an instant.

Two days after the operation, breathing problems occured. Vanessa was admitted to the ICU, where she spent several weeks on a ventilator. Eventually, Vanessa’s condition began to improve slightly. She started breathing on her own and had a tracheostomy tube inserted

Then, rehabilitation started. One day, Vanessa even managed to lift her hand! We felt a surge of hope and overwhelming joy. The impossible seemed possible.

Vanessa's body stabilized, and full rehabilitation commenced at the Children's Health Center Hospital. After much effort, she began moving her other hand as well! This motivated us to work even harder toward Vanessa's recovery.

My daughter loves doing makeup, and despite her disability, with a little help from her friends, Vanessa still manages to pursue her hobby.

Vanessa has been in the hospital since the end of April and is nearing discharge. I need to adapt my apartment to meet my daughter's needs and ensure ongoing medical care and rehabilitation, which involves significant costs. Therefore, I kindly ask for your help.
