Hello,
My sister (17) and I (34) are having a really tough time at the moment. Our father passed away eight years ago, and then, quite suddenly at the start of this year, our mother died too.
My sister has been living with me ever since. She’s in training and I work as a school support worker. Unfortunately, we’re completely stretched thin. We try to manage our day-to-day living costs, but sadly there’s usually hardly anything left by the middle of the month. Now we’re in deep water, as the undertaker wants the funeral costs paid up front. We managed to agree with him that we could pay at the end of the year, but unfortunately there was no money left to put aside. Perhaps there’s someone who can help us out of this predicament
