Hello, my name is Luz Mery Acevedo, I am a Colombian mother who has lived in Venezuela for many years. I know first hand the difficulties faced by migrants, especially women, when they arrive in a new land looking for opportunities and a dignified life.

That is why I created the Construyendo Vidas Diferentes foundation, an initiative in Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, where we support the Venezuelan and Colombian migrant community in vulnerable situations. Our goal is to prevent human trafficking and forced prostitution, providing real tools so that these women can rebuild their path.

We offer:

• Job training courses
• Psychological and emotional support
• Preparation for integration into the Colombian employment system.
