Hello everyone, my name is Cristian Mameli.

Many of you are already familiar with my work on La Testata (www.latestata.it), a publishing project launched in Cagliari that now reaches the whole of Italy. But behind the pixels and the news lies a story of sleepless nights, lines of code learnt through self-study, and a dream that keeps me awake: to prove that digital publishing can be the driving force behind creating real new jobs in our country.

I built La Testata on my own, starting from scratch. I learnt to code to give a voice to Italy’s regions, convinced that local news is the beating heart of our community. Today, together with editor-in-chief Vincenzo Di Dino and a team of young professionals, we are ready to take the big leap.

Why are we here?

In the past, I launched two fundraising campaigns that did not achieve the success I had hoped for. But I didn’t give up. Those attempts taught me that to build something great, you need the strength of a community that believes in the same vision.

Our long-term mission is ambitious: to create 10,000 jobs in Italy (500 per region). We know this is a huge goal, which is why we have decided to proceed in concrete and transparent stages.

Phase 1: The €5,000 target

This campaign is the first building block. We’re not promising the impossible tomorrow, but real improvement today. The first €5,000 raised will be used entirely to:

Technological Upgrades: Developing the web platform to handle growing national traffic.

Artificial Intelligence: Implementing AI tools to automate the collection of local events, allowing the editorial team to focus on investigations and valuable content.

Regional Development: Launch the first structured partnerships in pilot regions to map employment and cultural opportunities.

•

Sustainability: Cover running costs to keep information free and accessible to all.
