I’m an 18-year-old sixth-former saving up for my school ski trip. I’d really love to go with my friends, but we’re not in a financial position to afford it. My dad left us when I was six and doesn’t pay child support, so my mum, who’s a performing artist, looks after me and my brother. I’ve been working alongside my studies for almost two years now to make things easier for my mum. I realise that my camp isn’t the most important thing on this platform, but if you can spare the means, I’d be very grateful for your support.
