💭 What If Memory Faded… But the Music Remained?

Faces is a cinematic short film about a neurologist, a pianist, and the melody that bridges memory, identity, and love.

It’s a story I carry deeply — inspired by my experience in healthcare, both as a caregiver and as someone who had to rebuild after trauma.

Music was my lifeline. It helped me reconnect with myself and the people I love. And now, it’s the emotional core of this film.

Set in a 1980s hospital, Faces follows Dr. Edward Redwood, an introverted neurologist, who begins treating Victor Tan — a former concert pianist suffering from visual agnosia, a condition that leaves him unable to recognize faces or objects.

With the help of Nurse Morgan, Redwood introduces an experimental therapy using personalized melodies to help Victor reconnect with his surroundings — and with his wife, Sarah.

This is a story about progress, not perfection — about healing through sound, and the quiet power of human connection.

In a world that often reduces people to diagnoses, Faces is a reminder that there’s always more to see — and more to feel.

It’s a film about empathy, creativity, and choosing to believe in something as fragile — and as powerful — as hope.

And it’s coming from a team that has already proven what can be done with passion and purpose.

Our previous short film, For Better or Worse, was nominated at the Cannes World Film Festival and went on to win multiple international awards.

We’re now building Faces as the next chapter — bigger, bolder, and with the same emotional integrity.

This project is being created in collaboration with Victor Nikamo, an exceptionally talented director of photography who became an award-winning filmmaker at the age of 16. Victor continues to pursue both his studies and his career in filmmaking with incredible dedication and vision — and we’ve already proven what we can create together.

We are currently in development and aiming to begin production in fall 2025, with post-production and release scheduled for Christmas 2025.
