  • Dear Readers,

I would like to share with you the experiences of my daughter, Florina Puzsoma, regarding her chronic condition, ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura), which has been shaping our daily lives for about a year now. Unfortunately, this condition affects not only Florina’s life, but our whole family, as it requires constant attention and care.

Florina’s condition fluctuates between better and worse. There are periods when the symptoms seem to ease, but it can easily happen that an unexpected complication makes our daily lives difficult again. Due to her low platelet count, she requires regular medical check-ups, which we attend in Debrecen. The journey is over 130 kilometres, which is not only time-consuming but also a financial burden for us.

Every time we set off for Debrecen, our hearts are filled with worry, but there is also hope that the doctors can take further steps in Florina’s treatment. Regular check-ups and keeping in touch with specialists are essential for us to cope with this difficult situation. However, unfortunately, our financial circumstances do not always allow for this kind of care, and now we must ask the community for help.

We are therefore seeking financial support to cover the costs of treatment and travel. Every single forint brings us closer to improving Florina’s health, allowing us to breathe a little easier, at least for a short while, during this difficult period.

Thank you to everyone who is contributing to my daughter’s recovery, and thank you for your understanding and support!

    With love,

    Florina’s mum
