Hope in difficult times: A call for help from a small family with a heart: Mum, son 7 years old and our beloved animals

Dear people,

My son Sander, our kitten Musi, our little puppy Flauschi and I are facing one of the most difficult trials of our lives. We have become victims of a heartless scam: All our money has been stolen through manipulated chargebacks, and the perpetrator has disappeared with our remaining savings. Now we are looking forward to the coming days with anxiety, especially Christmas, which is supposed to be a celebration of hope and joy.

I am a single mum with a severe disability (70%) and my son, who has care level 3 , is my greatest happiness and also my daily motivation. Our family is completed by our two faithful companions - Musi, our gentle kitten, and Flauschi, our playful puppy - who give us comfort and smiles in difficult moments. But at the moment we don't know how we as a family, humans and animals alike, are going to keep our heads above water. There is a lack of money for food, bills and essentials for our animals.

What we need are not large sums of money, but small gestures of humanity. Every euro brings us a little closer to something that many people take for granted: a warm meal, a few biscuits at Christmas and the security of not being alone. Any support also helps us to continue to look after Musi and Flauschi, as they are our soul mates and part of our family.
