Hope in difficult times: A cry for help from a small, loving family: Mum, her 7-year-old son and our beloved pets

Dear friends,

my son Sander, our kitten Musi, our little puppy Flauschi and I are facing one of the toughest trials of our lives. We have fallen victim to a heartless scam: all our money has been stolen through fraudulent chargebacks, and the perpetrator has disappeared with our remaining savings. Now we look ahead to the coming days with great concern, especially to Christmas, which is supposed to be a festival of hope and joy.

I am a single mother with a severe disability (70%) and my son, who has care level 3 , is my greatest joy and my daily motivation. Our family is made complete by our two faithful companions – Musi, our gentle kitten, and Flauschi, our playful puppy – who bring us comfort and a smile in difficult times. But at the moment, we don’t know how we, as a family – both human and animal – are to keep our heads above water. We lack the money for food, bills and the bare essentials for our pets.

What we need are not large sums of money, but small gestures of kindness. Every euro brings us a step closer to something that many take for granted: a warm meal, a few biscuits at Christmas, and the reassurance of not being alone. Any support also helps us to continue caring for Musi and Flauschi, as they are our soulmates and part of our family.
