I will also write it in English to the best of my ability, which will be in the second half of the description.)
Hi.
My name is József and I am 31 years old.
I would like to explain briefly why I am launching this fundraising campaign.
(I would like to apologise if this isn’t entirely coherent or doesn’t read like the work of a professional writer, but please bear in mind my current state of mind. )
I don’t know where to start, I don’t know what this is supposed to look like.
A few years ago, I successfully bought our family home. With the help of a mortgage, of course. (I think that’s where I went wrong.) Although at the time I didn’t think—or couldn’t have thought—that I’d end up in this situation, as I’d already been working there for 5–6 years and was a key member of the company. I was sacked about six months ago. (But an optimistic person will sort it out.) I thought I’d turn my hobby into a source of income. So I thought I’d become an entrepreneur. But after some initial successes, reality quickly caught up with me, and our savings ran out. Everything started piling up: bills, loans, daily expenses, and so on. Of course, my family supported me for as long as they could. But I don’t come from a wealthy family, so... So we’ve collapsed financially, the bank has caught up with us, and right now our house and everything we own is at risk.
At the start of the year, I was still hopeful and full of plans, but then the bank notices started coming in one after the other.
And now, on 30 January, my father had a stroke.
He’s still in hospital at the moment.
His doctor said that his left side is completely paralysed. At the moment, we don’t know to what extent this can be remedied or cured. But it is certain that he will need constant supervision during his rehabilitation. This is something I will have to manage either on my own or with the help of a carer. This means that I will be completely unable to earn an income, and as for hiring a paid carer, we simply cannot afford it. On top of that, he will likely need medication, mobility aids and other assistive devices, which come at a significant financial cost.
But one thing is certain: we cannot manage this financially on our own.
Neither the bank nor my father can cover the necessary expenses, nor the loss of income.
My current situation – and that of my family – is quite distressing. I would therefore ask for help from anyone who is in a position to assist. This is currently the only idea I can think of
I am not asking for financial support for the rest of my life, just the help needed to get through these current difficulties. And assistance to get back on my feet.
József

Hello.
I'm József, 31 years old.
I would like to explain in detail why I am launching this fundraiser.
(I would like to apologise if it isn’t very coherent or doesn’t read like the work of a writer, but please bear in mind my current state of mind. )
I don’t know where to start, I don’t know what this should look like.
A few years ago I successfully bought our family home. Of course, with the help of a mortgage. (I think I messed up here.) Although at the time I didn’t think—or couldn’t have thought—that I would end up in such a situation, because I had already worked there for 5–6 years and was a key member of the company. I was made redundant about six months ago. (But a confident person will figure it out.) I thought I would turn my hobby into a source of income. So I thought I’d become an entrepreneur. But after some initial success, reality quickly caught up with us, and our savings ran out. Everything started to pile up: bills, loans, daily expenses, and so on. Of course, my family supported me as much as they could. But I don’t come from a wealthy family, so… So we collapsed financially after the bank caught up with us, and currently our house and everything is at risk.
At the start of the year I was still hopeful and full of plans, but I received a series of bank notices.
And now, on 30 January, my father had a stroke.
He is still in hospital.
His doctor said that he is completely paralysed on the left side. At the moment we do not know to what extent this will be treatable or curable. But it is certain that he will need constant supervision during the rehabilitation period. Which I or a nurse will have to manage. Which means that I am completely unable to earn money, or we would need to hire a paid nurse, which we cannot afford. In addition, he will probably need medication, mobility aids and other assistive devices, which will place a considerable financial burden on us.
But it is certain that we cannot manage this financially on our own.
Neither the costs required by the bank, nor those for my father, nor the loss of income.
My current situation – and that of my family – is quite dire. I would like to ask for help from anyone who can assist with this. This is the only option I can think of at the moment.
I am not asking for lifelong support, but for the help needed to get through the current difficulties. And help to get back on my feet/on our feet.
